There are several users at my organization that cannot edit attachments in any application and have the changes saved back to the notes document. It does not appear to be a security issue as I had the user edit and save attachments in their notes mail(which is manager access to them). No error messages are displayed it simply doesn't save the data.(Yes I verified they are clicking "edit" and not open when launching the attachment. Then they save in excel or word, exit the doc, and lastly saving the actual notes document.)

I am able to edit and save attachments back to the notes document without any issues.

I have checked the message boards, looked thru the notes 8.0.2 help, and preferences options, but have not seen anything that might resolve the issue.

Has anyone seen or experienced this behavior? I'm not sure if this is notes related or something in ms office....
